The brief

Make the website feel like the first course.

Bella Italia begins with a restaurant challenge: guests are not only choosing food. They are choosing an atmosphere, an occasion, and the feeling they hope to have when they arrive at the table.

The one-page structure turns that decision into an unfolding evening— from first impression and signature dishes to the kitchen, menu, dining room, practical details, and a reservation-ready finale.

The approach

Designed around the way guests choose where to dine.

01

The challenge

Present the food, atmosphere, menu, hours, and reservation path without reducing the restaurant to a static menu or a collection of familiar Italian visual clichés.

02

The strategy

Structure the page like an evening in courses. Each section reveals another reason to visit while keeping the practical information and reservation action within easy reach.

03

The design outcome

A bold, editorial dining experience that feels warm, contemporary, and full of personality—while remaining simple to explore and easy to reserve from any screen.

The one-page flow

Every section moves the visitor one step closer.

01

Atmosphere before information

A cinematic opening establishes the restaurant’s energy before inviting guests to begin the evening.

02

Signature dishes as visual anchors

A horizontally scrolling table lets the food lead while concise descriptions make each plate easy to understand.

03

The full dining story

The kitchen, ticket-style menu, dining-room filmstrip, wine, and practical visit details build a complete sense of place.

04

Reservation without interruption

The final matchbook-inspired reservation moment keeps guests inside the experience instead of sending them elsewhere.

Design direction

Italian dining without the expected visual clichés.

Tomato red, electric blue, olive, golden yellow, warm paper textures, expressive serif typography, and editorial photography create a restaurant identity that feels nostalgic and completely current.
